Bright future in Mbeere, one flush at a time

In a heartening display of community engagement and commitment to hygiene, Jacob Ireri, fondly known as 'MBAO', has embarked on the construction of a public toilet in Kabugua Kanyama, situated in the Mbeere North constituency. Today marked a significant milestone as MBAO visited the site, greeted by enthusiastic locals who eagerly welcomed his initiative.

The anticipation and gratitude from the community were palpable as MBAO surveyed the designated area for the upcoming toilet facility. His presence sparked a sense of hope and relief among the residents, who have long awaited such a crucial amenity to address sanitation challenges in the area.

While addressing locals at the site, MBAO expressed his unwavering commitment to improving the well-being of his community through tangible actions.

 "Access to clean and safe sanitation facilities is a fundamental right for every individual. I am dedicated to ensuring that the residents of Kabugua Kanyama have access to adequate sanitation infrastructure,"  affirmed Jacob Ireri who is a deaf person.

The locals, in turn, lauded MBAO for his selfless dedication and determination to address a pressing need within their community.

 "We are immensely grateful to MBAO for his initiative to construct this public toilet. It will not only enhance hygiene but also promote a healthier environment for us and future generations," remarked one resident identified as Ireri echoing the sentiments of many.

The facility will be handed over to the community by end April after completion.
