Kalonzo's candidature reduces Ruto and Raila to political toddlers-Kitui senator

Kitui senator Enoch Kiio Wambua has said Wiper party leader Dr Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka’s candidature under the One Kenya Alliance is “the only sure bet which can reduce the political dominance” which has been enjoyed by ODM leader Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto.

The Kitui senator who is a key defender of Kalonzo and who has been labelled by Kenyan press as a hardliner said that Mr Musyoka's candidature should scare anyone campaigning against him as he has the best political credentials and manifesto to warrant his election as the president of this nation come 2022.

Mr. Wambua spoke after attending a church service at Mutha Jesus Celebration Centre (JCC) in Kitui South Sub County where he had gone to drum up support for the Wiper party leader in a bid to consolidate his Kamba vote.

"We have to lock all the votes in the Ukambani regions for our party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka if we want to stand a better chance of winning the 2022 presidential race," asserted the Senator.

The vocal senator warned both Eng. Odinga and DP Ruto that soon their goose would be cooked and within no time they shall be reduced from the purported political horses into mere political mules.

"We are sure that Kalonzo's candidature under the OKA alliance would reduce the likes of Raila and Ruto into political mules as Kalonzo's political credentials can compare to none," he added.

He lauded all the party leaders of the OKA alliance for staying put and joining hands to ensure that they liberate this nation from wanton poverty and the corruption menace.

The senator said that it would be fallacious to assert that 2022 general elections would be a two-horse race, even with the clear emergence of the formidable OKA coalition.
