Embu's 3-K FC clinches FKF Division One Zone A title

In a thrilling showdown at Moi Stadium, Embu County, 3-K FC emerged victorious, seizing the coveted title of FKF Division One Zone A champions. With a resounding 3-1 triumph over Kibra United, they not only secured the championship but also punched their ticket to the esteemed National Super League (NSL) for the upcoming season.

Charles Njagi who is the chairman for 3K FC expressed immense gratitude to the team and attributed their success to divine intervention, highlighting the team's perseverance and dedication.

"This triumph comes in the wake of a closely contested battle with Kibra United who had held a one-point lead over 3K FC.We are delighted that our team 3K FC has secured their position in the NSL, marking a historic moment for Embu County football landscape,"Njagi observed.

He also emphasized the significance of this achievement, noting that no team from Embu County has ever competed at the Division One level. He underscored the hard work and determination of the players and staff, acknowledging the
 groundbreaking nature of their accomplishment.

Looking ahead, Njagi acknowledged the challenges that lie ahead for 3K FC in the NSL. He emphasized the need for the team to bolster its ranks by bringing on board additional players to strengthen their lineup.

In light of their newfound status in the NSL, Njagi noted the need to secure additional sponsors for backing and support the team's endeavors.

"I am convinced that this team will do marvelous in the NSL. It is solid," he said.

Meanwhile, Fortune Sacco ,favored 3-K FC as their title aspirations were cemented by the misfortune of their rivals. Fortune Sacco suffered a heartbreaking 1-0 defeat to Omax FC in Mombasa County, dashing their hopes of clinching the championship and providing 3-K FC with an unassailable lead in the standings.

With their eyes set on new horizons in the NSL, 3-K FC stands ready to write the next chapter in their storied football journey.
