Wajir-bound bus involved in accident along Thika-Garissa highway

A Wajir- bound bus has been involved in an accident leaving scores injured.

The accident occurred at Mwatungo area near Kithyoko market along the Thika-Garissa highway on Thursday around 8pm.

The 'Wajir Express' bus is reported to have veered off the road before it rolled several times.

Police have arrived at the scene and several people with injuries have been rushed to Mwingi Level IV hospital.
