Let me take this opportunity to wish you and your families a prosperous and a happy 2022.

2021 was a difficult year.

COVID-19 pandemic paralysed businesses and led to poor harvest.

By God’s grace we achieved a lot, despite the difficulties which we encountered.

Construction of CDF projects accelerated as we started finishing the unfinished projects, new big state of heart projects such as storied classrooms in Mutugu and Gategi were started with Nyangwa dormitory now nearing completion.

True to our promise we have already completed the upgrading of six sport field to “mini stadiums” status.

Our first school bus is about to be delivered to Kiambeere mixed to facilitate educational tours for our students.

Through mobilization the National Government projects have increased. We have Siakago, Gachuriri tarmac being finalized now.

Gachoka police station, ACC offices at Karaba and Makima and also we are about to start ACC Office in Kiritiri. We trust our law court will come this year.

Kiamuringa irrigation scheme as well as Rupingaci, Mukui and Gategi are all progressing well.

Food security is the backbone of any development and true to this we have delivered over 700 water pans to the whole constituency to facilitate irrigation.

We also have more than 38 young people who have found jobs in government. Constituency’s office has employed 18 and 20 graduates are working at our empowerment Centre on government contracts.

We are really proud of what God has enabled us to deliver to our people.

We enter 2022 by conducting the final project tour before Nominations in April 2022. We will take this chance to tell our people what we have accomplished in such a short time and ask for a fresh mandate.

We thank God that our people have accepted our leadership to join UDA. We will go to the coming elections as a United people who are focused on participating in government affairs at the highest level.

Through UDA we have hope that the perennial marginalization of Mbeere South will end soon. We shall be able to complete the ring road (tarmac) as well as Kiambere  tarmac road. We will deliver fresh and irrigation water to the whole of our constituency using the plans we have started.

We will engage the grassroots leaders including women, youth and professionals to chart the next chapter of our leadership.

I want to take this opportunity to restate my commitment to empower and transform Mbeere South through development and dialogue.

I love my people and my single desire is to transform Mbeere South to a prosperous constituency ready to embrace all opportunities Lifê may bring.

I wish you all a very successful 2022.

God bless you.
