Politicians keep off burials of River Enziu victims

 Two of the 33 members who lost their lives in Enziu River were laid to rest today at their respective homes in Nuu ward, Kitui County.

The first to be buried was Agness Kakivi was aged 38 years and a mother of four boys.  Next was Ann Munanu, a young girl aged five years.

One event was conducted from 7am to 2pm then mourners proceeded to the other family from 3 pm to 5pm. The last rites were so emotional. 

Both events were not attended by elected leaders where the aspirants dominated the fields.
