There was heavy rains in Katse Village , Mumoni Ward in Kitui County this morning.
The rains resulted to falling of three electricity posts around Kanyungu Primary School posing danger of electrocution to residents upon touching.
It is was not immediately clear whether Kenya Power had repaired the electricity connections by press time.
According to the Kenya Meteorological Department, a rain gauge stationed at Katse Agricultural Office on October 31 showed that 77.mm of rainfall was recorded.
"It is a substantially larger amount of rainfall and it can lead to significant wetness and flooding" said the Weatherman.
