Kanyangi MCA Boniface Katula has tabled the Motion to impeach Kitui County Assembly Deputy Speaker Christopher Nzilu.
In an update posted at the county assembly's Facebook page, the notice of motion to remove MCA Nzioka was posted.
"Pursuant to provisions of section 11a of the County Government Act, 2020 and the Kitui County Assembly Standing Order No.14(6), a notice of motion on removal of Hon. Christopher Nzilu Nzioka from the position of Deputy Speaker, County Assembly has been given during today’s morning plenary sitting by Hon. Bonface Mukwate Katula (KANYANGI WARD)".
The session was chaired by the Speaker Hon. Kevin Kinengo Katisya.
