KITUI COUNTY is expected to experience generally dry and partly cloudy cloudy conditions with a small chance of light drizzle over high ground areas, county director of Meteorological Services Mr Daniel Mbithi has said.
In his statement to newsrooms, Mbithi said the maximum temperature during the forecast period (Sep 5-11) will range between 25°C to 36°C while the minimum temperature will oscillate between 15°C and 23°C.
The county is expected to experience strong south easterly winds of over 25 knots [12m/s], the Weatherman has warned residents.
Residents of Kitui County were urged to consult their respective ward agricultural extension officers for advice on best farm practices.
