Washrooms will be built in Tseikuru despite opposition by alleged land grabbers, MCA says

Unnamed people in Tseikuru town have been warned against land grabbing which is affecting building of public amenities. Speaking in Tseikuru Full Gospel Church on Sunday, area MCA Daniel Kimanzi Muange vowed to ensure residents get new washrooms in the market despite what he termed as opposition to the project works.

The MCA lamented that there was a number of individuals opposing the building of the latrines in the market. "Acting Ward Administrator, stand firm wherever you are. Any public land that has been declared public should be used to build public facilities regardless of who is opposing that.

Those opposing should tell me the steps they want us to go in the conflict", he went on.

The first term Wiper MCA   said the county government had partnered with Kimwasco, a water and sanitation company in Kitui County, to build the essential assets for use by wananchi.

MCA Muange also revealed that similar facilities will be constructed in Tseikuru Sub County Hospital which is the largest health facility in the ward.
