The June-July-August season of cold weather has reached an end to pave way for a warmer one that will be marked by a flurry of activities since it is associated with short rains.
In his weekly weather bulletin, Kitui County Director of Meteorological Services Mr Daniel Mbithi has said the county is likely to experience generally dry and sunny conditions with a small chance of early morning drizzle during the forecast period over few areas.
The Weatherman forecast for maximum temperatures during the is likely to range from 27°C-36°C. The minimum temperatures are expected to be between 14°C-23°C.
The vast region residents were advised to brave themselves for strong south easterly wind of over 25 knots [12.5m/s].
