Unsolved murder cases recipe for anarchy -Mutula Kilonzo Junior

Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Junior has called upon the Independent Policing Oversight Authority [IPOA] to address the fatal shooting of an unarmed protester in his county. "I hereby request the Independent Policing Oversight Authority to take up this matter urgently and bring to book all or any officer who was responsible for the death of Mr Ngolany'e".

Mr Peter Ngolany'e was killed by police on July 19, 2023. In a press release seen by MWINGI TIMES, Junior said that the deceased was an innocent bystander and a water vendor in Wote town.

The county boss who is also a legal human rights defender termed the shooting as unfortunate and one of many by police which will lead Kenya to anarchy.

The first term county boss noted that Mr Brian Muendo, a teenager was shot and killed in Emali.
