Wet and cloudy conditions expected in most places in Kitui County this week- Meteo

April is expected to be the peak for the March-April-May (MAM) long rains season, the Weatherman has said.

Most places in Kitui County are expected to experience generally wet and cloudy conditions during the forecast period running from April 11 to 17.

"Minimum temperatures are expected to range from 17-21 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperatures are expected to range from 25-31°C", said Daniel Mbithi, the County Director of Meteorology.

Farmers in Kitui County have been advised to take advantage of this forecast and continue weeding as well as monitor the spread of crop pests and diseases with a view to stopping them.
