During the get together Miambani ward MCA urged the women to continue praying for peace in the country in the wake of heightened political temperatures.
The women through their representatives led by Mams A. Bilal thanked the MCA for the kind and generous gesture.
They urged him to continue fighting for the interests of Kitui people by performing the role of oversighting the county government to the best of his ability.

They hoped that the Kitui County Government would  restore the empowerment fund initiated by former governor Charity Ngilu.

The women also called for end of wrangles within the Kitui County Assembly  with some MCAs scheming to impeach the Speaker, Kevin Kinengo Katisya. They said it was advisable  for MCAs to allow the Speaker to perform his duties without being sabotaged.
