CHUKA University distances itself from Fake Memo

Chuka University has warned students, staff and faculty to ignore a memo doing rounds claiming that classes are cancelled due to purported upcoming public holiday on March 20, 2023.

In a communique issued on its official Facebook account, Chuka University has reassured its stakeholders that any official communication is sent via the University's official channels.

"We urgent all faculty, staff and students to disregard this memo and continue with their normal duties", read the post seen by MWINGI TIMES.

Azimio leader Raila Odinga had earlier declared March 20 a public holiday. Only Interior CS Kithure Kindiki can do that according to Kenyan laws.
