Curtain falls for Gospel great Ilagosa

Gospel artist Samuel Ilagosa's friends described the late singer as a talented and a kind soul.

Ilagosa Wa Ilagosa as he was fondly known drew his inspiration from the late songstress Angela Chibalonza as well as another Gospel artist Solomon Mukubwa.

The late singer died in a Nairobi hospital after reportedly being since for two months, his friend Musalia Mudambi told Standard newspaper.

Born in Bugina village, Busali Ward in Vihiga county, Ilagosa wa Ilagosa did odd jobs before starting his Gospel music journey. He has been a househelp, a watchman and a cleaner.

Some of his most known songs are Sala Zangu, Sema Nami and Ni Kwa Neema.
