Mwingi leaders praise pupils for exemplary KCPE performance

Several leaders from Mwingi North Sub County have congratulated their childrens' top scores in the recently released national exams.

Kitui Chief Officer for Trade and Investment Stephen Makau Musili alias Kivunzi's daughter scored 415 marks. Makau Cecilia Ndanu scored an A in all subjects except Science.

John Makau, a lawyer, has a reason to smile today. Her daughter Faith Mwende Muneeni emerged victorious in the KCPE by scoring 408 marks.

Eng Patrick Muthui Mwangangi alias Irianga, a Mwingi North politician is proud his son emerged among the best in St Gabriel boarding school in Mwingi town. The young man was the head boy, according to a source MWINGI TIMES interviewed for this story. His school was the best in Kitui County with a mean score of 397.400 marks.

Master Stanley Mumo Muthui attained 409 marks.

While congratulating his son, the father said that he will be able to pursue his dream career of becoming a lawyer after studies. "Congratulations to my son. Congratulations!! Mwanaa Irianga. Lawyer direct."

Irianga vied for Mwingi North MP on ODM party ticket in August 2022 and lost.

Mutua Venus Mutethya, a former Mumoni Ward MCA Johnson Kanandu's daughter scored 392 marks.
