Migwani MCA Harrison Maluki Mawia will serve as the Leader of Majority Party.  He will be deputised by Dr Erastus Mbuno Musyoka (Endau/Malalani MCA).

Kanyangi ward representative Boniface Mukwate Katula will serve as the Majority party whip. His deputy is Godfrey Muthengi Ndagara who represents Tharaka ward.

Party leaders

The Ngilu-led party proposed Miambani MCA Alex Mutambu Nganga as the Minority party leader. Nguni ward rep Jeremiah Musee Mutua is Hon Nganga’s deputy.

Matinyani MCA Sylvester Kitheka Munyalo is the new Minority party whip while his deputy is Boniface Katumbi who is also the MCA for Kyangwithya East.

When MWINGI TIMES visited the county assembly’s official website, it bore incomplete listing of members of different offices.

Two of the County Assembly Service Board posts were not filled. This included the Vice chairperson and a member post.

As the Speaker of the August House, Hon Kevin Kinengo Katisya is the new Chairperson of CASB while Clerk Mr Elijah Mutambuki remains the Board Secretary. Mr Katisya replaced former Speaker George Ndotto. Ndotto unsuccessfully vied for Speaker after serving for two consecutive terms.

To show that this was work in progress, the assembly noted that “Photos coming soon…”

Likewise, the House Leadership section of the website bore titles alone minus photos of the new office holders.
