The director spoke during the release of weekly weather forecast report for the week ending on September 12.
The Meteorology Department advises farmers to consult local agricultural extension officers for advice on the best farming methods in light of the weekly weather forecast.
The maximum number of temperatures forecast for Kitui County will range from 25-34 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperatures are expected to range from 15-21 degrees Celsius.
