While dripping blood on his forehead, Philip was rescued by Bodaboda riders from the contested land which borders Muuna river. He is the chairman of Tseikuru Bodaboda association.

"It is not the first time for them to fight. They have been fighting for some time with the younger brother overwhelming the elder in terms of strength", a resident told MWINGI TIMES.

It was not immediately clear where the culprit was by the time of going to press. He attacked his brother with assistance of his eldest son.

In an interview with MWINGI TIMES, Tseikuru location chief Mr Titus Mutui said he was on leave and therefore could not comment on the incident.

However, he promised to get an update on the matter from the acting assistant chief who was on duty.

On his part, Kasua Kimwele, who is another elder brother to Philip said that they were admitted to Tseikuru Sub County Hospital where his brother was being attended to by health officers.

Kasua said that they will be referred to Mwingi Level Four Hospital for more specialized treatment. "The injury was very severe.  He was cut on his head and a major vein appears to be injured since my brother is not speaking right now", said Kasua.
