The 80-year-old two term Speaker of Kitui County Assembly George Mutua Ndotto has been ousted by 30-year-old lawyer Kevin Kinengo Katisya.

The elections took place at the Kitui Assembly Chamber where the clerk of the Assembly Elijah Mutambuki was the returning officer.  Ndotto got 6 votes. Katisya amassed 51 votes.
