Munya called on Kenyans to reject Ruto's candidacy citing that he has failed in realizing development.

Speaking at Kanyuambora town in Mbeere North Sub County during a meeting with farmers, Munya said that DP Ruto and his allies were busy traversing different areas of the country spreading propaganda to the electorate without any development agenda.

"This Bottom-Up economic model which they are telling us is a propaganda and people should not buy it. If we take it serious we may elect bad leaders.

He has been in the government for eight years and he totally did nothing to better living standards of Kenyans. Now he is telling us about an economic model which is unrealistic," said Munya referring to DP Ruto who is the Kenya Kwanza Movement presidential candidate.

Munya observed that that Azimio's presidential candidate Raila Odinga was a game changer to the economy of the country and the electorate.

The CS at the same time stated that Raila has a big plan to unite Kenyans.

Munya lauded President Uhuru Kenya for development record he has achieved stating that the ODM leader Raila Odinga was only the sure bet to complete projects that president Kenyatta started.

"From the Handshake between Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta the mountain will benefit big. Mr Odinga will complete the projects started by the president and people will benefit," said Munya.

"Raila will get more votes in Mt Kenya and he will be the president,", he added.

Munya urged Mt Kenya electorate not to accept any division as this may puncture their negotiating power.

Further, he dismissed claims that Jubilee Party had been merged with ODM saying that is just a political partnership.

"Jubilee is strong and together we came together with ODM to build a coalition that will win in August" said Munya.

Agriculture CAS Anne Nyaga noted that Jubilee government had implemented many development projects in Embu and it was time to reciprocate through electing more leaders from Jubilee party.
