Speaking during ground breaking for the construction of the Party's offices in Embu town, Kivuti said that the decision of entering into a coalition with any political outfit will be informed at the grassroots level by the locals.

The former Embu senator said that at the moment the party is polishing its political base in Mt Kenya East by registering more than 400,000 party delegates in Embu County.

''After registering the members next month, I will call a very big meeting so that the people of Embu can tell us where we shall go. We have agreed with governor Kiraitu as we soldier on the residents will be the owners of the party. This party will be formed at the polling station they will be meeting and make their decision for the party,'' said Kivuti.

Kivuti who is also Embu gubernatorial aspirant stated that the party after registering members from the Mt Kenya East, they will also register members from other parts of the country.

The former legislator urged Mt Kenya East populace to gang up behind the party so that they can have a negotiating power for the national cake.

'This is our party. Let’s support it so that we have power to ask for our share in the national cake,' 'said Kivuti.

In his tour to Meru County Kalonzo said; ‘'We have agreed with Kiraitu that we must salvage this country so Kiraitu Mbus Party and Wiper we shall unite in an agreement,''.

In his response, Kiraitu said the party will coalesce with other political parties based on interests.

Kivuti’s sentiments were echoed by Ngugi Ndungu a party member who urged Mt Kenya region to rally behind the party and make it grow nationally.

Ndungu said that Mt Kenya East has for long supported the government blindly without any benefit noting that it was time for the residents to wake up and support their own party.
