A twilight girl enjoyed a good time with a retired teacher in Molo, Nakuru County and left him for the dead before dawn yesterday.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations reports that the 76-year-old man’s body was found at Salama lodging after the incident.
Eyewitnesses said the elderly man was believed to have drunk local brew at Miti Mirefu before booking himself a room located along Molo’s red-light district of Kaloleni at around 10pm.
30 minutes after the man retired to bed, he was joined by unidentified twilight girl.
“Yesterday morning a cleaner at the lodging discovered the man’s lifeless body after she noticed that the door to his room had not been locked. She immediately alerted the manager Bernard Kiarie who informed our detectives based in Molo about the discovery”, reads a police report seen by Mwingi Times.
Police have now urged lodging owners to record details of every person who accesses their facilities. The identities must be as captured in their national identity cards.
