The Mwala MP thanked Kenyans for the moral support in the short distance competitions where Kenya has bagged two gold medals courtesy of Kawaya.

Earlier in the week, Bunge FC whose captain is Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen drew with the Parliament of Uganda in a tough match that ended 3-3. The team had earlier bet EALA FC 1-0.

Also participating in the Athletics is Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna. Nguna won 400m race.

Kenyan athletes are known worldwide for winning in different competitions. It appears that MPs are emulating our athletes.

The sporting competition was held in Uganda.
