Mathuki location residents have rushed to the rescue of a famous witchdoctor who was attacked by a client turned assailant.

Mathuki location is in Mwingi East Sub County in Kitui County.
The assault happened on Saturday.
It left the mganga writhing in pain after he was attacked on his head. Mwingi Times did not immediately establish the reason for the irreconcilable difference by press time.
“On arrival, they found him writhing in pain after being attacked on the head by the client turned assailant”, reads police abstract in part.
The angry residents attacked Muthui Mwenga, 65, the client with crude weapons, killing him on the spot.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations, DCI has warned Kenyans against taking the law into their own hands. It says all reports of crime should be channeled to police for action.
