CHURCH reveals names of choir members who died in Enziu tragedy

 The Catholic Diocese of Kitui has sent sincere condolences to all families who lost their loved ones in the grisly road accident that claimed 33 lives in Mwingi.

In a post on its Facebook page, the religious institution eulogised the choir members of St Cecilia Catholic Choir Mwingi.

“The choir members were full of energy and joy as they served the Lord with angelic voices in church music”, said Kitui Catholic Diocese.

The church ends the post by praying for the departed, as this post reads in part: Eternal Rest grant unto them O Lord, and let your perpetual light shine upon them. May they Rest in Peace. Amen.

Mr Stephen Kang’ethe who was the driver of the ill-fated bus was among those who died. His portrait and that of 15 others were revealed to the world in a post that generated an outpouring of condolences from the netizens.
