Muchiri took the opportunity to remind drivers to be careful on the roads in order to reduce incidences of road carnage.

While taking the foods the MP had prepared, Muchiri’s electorate said that they were lucky to eat well at the event saying many will not afford a chapati this year for Christmas and New Year celebrations.

Many Kenyans lost their jobs this year as Covid-19 pandemic ravaged the economy.

Muchiri is garnering for Embu County gubernational post next year.

While reiterating the need to be careful on the roads, he besieged drivers to ferry Kenyans well to and from their destinations saying that life was precious and wananchi’s lives could not be compared to potatoes.

"Please drivers do not drink and drive. Mantain the lowest speed ever on road because you are carrying people and not potatoes," said Muchiri.
