WE saw white men dancing in our dorm at night, student tells police as Katse girls’ school closed

 A school in Mumoni Sub County, Kitui County was closed after students reported seeing a ghost dancing in the dormitory at night.

Katse Girls’ Secondary School was closed following disappearance of 46 Form Four and Form Three students.

The principal Mr Zakayo Kimeto and watchman went to the dormitory to check what had happened only to find out that all learners were not in the dormitory.

Upon interrogation, one student told the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, DCI, that they woke up at around 1am and saw white people dancing in the dormitory prompting them to run to Katuka Primary School for safety. Later, they all went to their respective homes.

The incident was reported under Mumoni Police Station Occurrence Book REF: OB04/13/11/2021.

According to Mr Joseph Ngala, a parent at Katse Girls Secondary School, his daughter reached home at 4am. She narrated to them what had transpired.

The school Board of Management and Sub County Director of Education Mr Osman Eno met decided to send Form Ones and Twos home and close the school until November 23.
