EMBU ‘VIAGRA’ AROUSES ATTENTION AT DEVOLUTION CONFERENCE

Embu County made headlines by selling sex enhancing drugs at the just concluded 7^th Annual Devolution Conference in Makueni County.

While other counties showcased innovative technologies that promoted technological advancement, Embu took advantage of the phrase “sex sells” and opted to market the aphrodisiac ‘Mukombero’ popular in Western Kenya as a libido booster.

The Embu County Government stand at Makueni Boys’ High School was a beehive of activity as attendees of the Devolution Conference, clearly disinterested in products from other counties jostled to purchase the sex stimulating drugs on offer.

Reports indicate that thousands of delegates thronged the Embu County Government’s exhibition stand to purchase pills extracted from the Mondia whitei plants roots commonly found in Kakamega forest in a bid to bolster their sexual prowess.

The wonder sex pill is the brainchild of one Dr. Pattedy Nyaga, a pharmacist based in Embu. Dr. Nyaga said there was an overwhelming demand for the sex enhancing pill, adding that the KSh 1,900 packs containing 50 capsules had sold out, prompting restocking all the way from Embu.

Mukombero

He said that his innovation of making Mukombero tablets was an effort to conserve the plant that was nearly facing extinction. Dr. Nyaga pointed out that Mukombero has been overharvested and chewed raw for its properties of increasing sexual vigour and vitality in men.

In addition, at the Embu County stand there is also another sex drive improving drug christened ‘Viga’. Dr. Nyaga confirmed that Viga has properties of increasing sexual virility and guaranteed his clients of an elevated sexual appetite after taking the capsules.

Viga is said to be the product of an Indian herb known as Ashwagandha, which is popularly used in Ayurveda; a pseudoscientific alternative medicine system with historical roots in the Indian subcontinent that has been practiced for over 5,000 years.

It is not clear whether Embu County is now taking the course of promoting sexual tourism or why the County Government has taken the path of officially promoting drugs that increase sexual desires of its populace. Questions as to whether Embu men experience low libido remain unanswered.

The two drugs are available on sale at Neema Pharmacy in Embu town.
