DP RUTO to give Mtitu Andei sex workers Sh1Million to start respectful hustles

 DEPUTY President William Ruto has pledged to give sex workers in Mtito Andei Sh1Million as start-up capital to undertake more decent ventures.

The country’s second in command urged the sex workers to invest the money that he will donate to them wisely. He will be monitoring to follow on the progress.

DP Ruto told the sex workers to form a Sacco where he will deposit the money for them to venture into respectful businesses. They urged Mr Ruto to make the fund readily available in order for their lives to be transformed.

Ruto camped in Makueni County on Monday where he toured Kibwezi East and Kibwezi West constituencies holding meetings with local leaders.

He also addressed public barazas at Mtito Andei, Makindu, Kibwezi, Mbuinzau, Kinyambu and Kambu.

 The deputy president was accompanied by Machakos town MP Victor Munyaka, Ndindi Nyoro (Kiharu) and Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok during the tour of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka's home turf.
