BREAKING: TWO DIE IN MWINGI OVER LAND SALE

 Police are investigating the death of two people in Mwingi town following a land sale. The incident occurred on October 19.

Muthui Kamonzo, a brutal gangster and other robbers killed a firewood seller who had earned Sh30,000 after selling his land in Mwingi town. When he sold the land, robbers ambushed him to reap from where they had not sowed.

“One robber, Muthui Kamonzo who attacked the firewood seller is very harsh. He murdered people in Musuani. He is a former prisoner who started planting mboga after release”, Mr Kamwatu Malonza, Mwingi Probox Association chairman told Mwingi Times.

Police are investigating the murder as other suspects involved in the incident escaped arrests.

According to a Police Occurrence Book report seen by Mwingi Times, a mob killed Muthui Kamonzo at around 930am. He was burned beyond recognition upon being suspected to be the one behind the killing of Francis Mutia Kilungya.

“That one Stephen Muthui Kamonzo Kamba male adult aged 44 years had been orchestrated to mob injustice at around 0930 hours and burnt beyond recognition upon being suspected to be behind the killing of Francis Mutia Kilungya”, read the police OB in part.

The body of Mutia Kilungya was photographed by detectives who moved it to Mwingi Level IV Hospital Mortuary awaiting autopsy.
