Kalonzo won't retreat in his 2022 presidential bid -Mwingi North MP

 Mwingi North MP Eng. Paul Nzengu has said that the Wiper Party leadership is determined in ensuring that the name of their party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka is on the ballot come 2022 general election, urging those pushing Kalonzo to deputize other presidential candidates not to waste their time.

Speaking after meeting education stakeholders from Kyuso and Thagicu sub counties at Katse primary school, Mr. Nzengu said that so far Mr. Musyoka has shown to be the only presidential candidate who has remained blameless in matters corruption, hence he was the best suited to fight the vice.

The legislator said that even some attempts to paint the Wiper Party leader dirty failed, after he was cleared by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations over the Yatta land.

Mr. Nzengu dismissed any likelihood of Mr. Musyoka deputizing ODM party leader Raila Odinga in the forthcoming election, saying that it was now payback time and Mr. Odinga should now return the favour by supporting Kalonzo after what he did to him in 2013 and 2017.

The MP said that instead of trying to malign the blameless Kalonzo, they should try his leadership skills by electing him as he is even getting international accolades for his exemplary efforts in fostering peace and unity across the globe.
