Speaking at Christian International Church in Karaba when he visited to handover hand washing materials to the church, Mwaluko said Kivuti is the only hope for the challenges facing Embians.

He said when he was Embu senator, he positively impacted lives of many young people through bursaries which he was issuing from his salary.

"Kivuti is an enigma and a game changer. He is the only hope we have as Embu people and I want to urge you to support him. He is not looking for this seat because he wants money. He has his own money and he can't steal public resources," said Mwaluko.

His sentiments were echoed by nominated MCA Elizabeth Kibai who said he enjoys the pprivilege of being an MCA because of Mr Kivuti.

Leadership

She said Kivuti has demonstrated good leadership tactics for the positions he has held before and its now time to trust him with county resources by elevating him to the governor's seat.

David Waruingi the Reverend for the church and a former principal said while he was principal between 2013 and 2017, he witnessed the impact which was brought about the bursaries which Kivuti issued.

Kivuti while speaking said leaders should do development politics and not archaic campaigns.

He urged Mwea ward residents to support him so that he can make it to the governor's position.

" I have heard you say there was big change when I was county senator. Many students benefited from my bursaries and many other things that we did that time. This can be greatly achieved if you vote me as your governor”, said Kivuti.

Kivuti who came second in 2017 gubernatorial elections after Mr Martin Wambora said he will traverse the whole county to meet the locals and know their challenges and how he will fix them once elected as governor.
