Kitui senator tells ODM leutenants to either embrace other partners in handshake or ship out

Kitui senator Enoch Wambua has told the ODM party point blank that they should either learn to embrace other partners in the handshake or just leave the handshake without creating any chaos.

Mr. Wambua said that there weren’t lesser partners in working with the government, hence the ODM party should lecture the president on whom to bring on board or whom should be a partner in the handshake.

“I want to tell my friends from the ODM party not to try to lecture anyone on matters handshake or whom should be the preferred candidate in 2022, as we are all equal partners in the handshake hence no one should claim any form of supremacy,” said Mr. Wambua.

The Kitui senator who was speaking at an event in Machakos where he had gone to stand with the Wiper Party candidate for Machakos senatorial seat Madam Kavindu Muthama, said that Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka was a brand by himself and he wasn’t seaking favor or endorsement by anyone and that he would vie for the presidency come 2022 all by himself alongside other like-minded politicians.

In the past few days, there has been discontent among some senior ODM party officials that betrayal against the ODM party leader Raila Odinga was looming, claiming sabotage of their party leader by some senior government officials and coalition partners.

On Machakos by-election, the Kitui senator declared that seat has already been won by the Wiper Party, if early indicators are anything to go by.

“We have already preserved a seat of our incoming senator Madam Kavindu Muthama in the senate as we are very confident of her landslide win in the forthcoming election,” added the senator.
