A Mwingi central MCA aspirant raises the political bar, donates Geometrical sets to pupils

Pupils sitting for their KCPE exams in Public schools within Mwingi town are now more than ready for exams, thanks to an old pupil of Kasina Primary school who supplied all the class eight pupils in Mwingi Primary and Kasina primary with modern Geometrical sets to enable them do their exams with ease.

Dorcas Mbeke, a youthful lady who left Kasina Primary in 2001 says that she thought it wise to buy geometrical sets for the pupils in the two schools in Mwingi central, as she understands that most parents have been heavily hit by the effects of Covid-19 and they would struggle to provide such items to their pupils.

"These are the gaps which other leaders without passion for education have failed to fill in, I belief that I can offer better leadership because my passion is service to humanity," said the youthful MCA aspirant who currently works with COTU.

After receiving the donation, Kasina Primary school head teacher Stella Maris Muoki said that the school is set for the exams and she is optimistic of getting more than five pupils from her school scoring more than 400 marks and over 30 scoring above 300 mark, in this year’s class of 76.

"We are more than ready fro the exams. I belief that my pupils would give me good grades. We expect to get more than five pupils scoring above 400 marks and over thirty scoring above 300 marks," narrated Stella who was de-localized from Makueni county to Kasina three years ago.

Muoki said that the school has already put into consideration Covid-19 control protocols by the ministry of health and so far no pupil had tested positive for the virus.

Naaman Muraya who the school president said that the pupils are ready for the exams and success is their only dream.
