Former Wiper Party Executive director Dr. Gideon Mulyungi who
won in Mwingi Central MP Wiper Party nomination exercise on Thursday 9th May has warned Wiper party top leaders
who lost in nominations or whose preferred candidates lost in the parties’
nominations, not to relieve themselves of frustrations buy fighting their party
leader Kalonzo Musyoka or risk being punished mercilessly by the kamba
community.
Mulyungi said that a good example of what the people will do to
such leaders was manifested when the party chair David Musila lost in the
nominations and Senator Muthama’s preferred candidate Bernard Kiala was
trounced by Wavinya Ndeti in Machakos.
The former PS in the Ministry of Public Works said that Kalonzo
is the anointed kingpin of the Kamba people and the likes of Musila and Muthama
who will try to fight him will remain underdogs who will eventually lose
terribly.
He also called upon the Former LSK boss Erick Mutua to consider
supporting him as the Wiper Party nominee in Mwingi Central; this is after he
beat him in a repeat of fresh primaries which had been ordered in court
garnering 15,833 votes, against 7,023 of Mutua.
